Escondido Draw Recreational Area, EDRA is a 3,400 acre property located in west Texas. The economy in this part of State has been sustained by ranching and the oil/gas business.  The land still represents the untamed and primitive values of the old west.  When the property is completely developed, it will provide a wide range of motorized trails supporting all levels of challenges.  EDRA is located in western Crockett County, approximately 30 miles southwest of Ozona.  Ozona is 205 miles northwest of San Antonio along Interstate 10; and around 100 miles south of San Angelo and 150 miles south of Midland and Odessa, Texas. Volunteers are currently working to build the recreational trail system.  Property improvements will be added during the next phase of development.  Information about the work weekends and the property’s opening can be found on the TMTC website and forum.
