FreelinMX is located on a 53 acre facility just Southwest of Marlette Michigan. Facilities include restrooms, concession area, sign-up building, water stations, grandstands, FM broadcasting, ample parking, and a retailer available for those last minute needs like tubes and levers. The main track is approximately 1.75 miles long, utilizes a 40-rider starting gate and has its own underground irrigation system. The surface varies from sand, to loam, to clay. Ideal tire choice is a Dunlop 756 or equivalent intermediate to soft tire. Track terrain is somewhat flat, with most obstacles being manmade. The layout is Outdoor-Motocross style with a wide variety of obstacles. • high-speed sweepers • bowl turns • tight corners • tabletops • whoops • doubles • step-ups • timing sections • step-up-double Several options are incorporated so the track is different in some sections from race to race to provide riders of all skill levels with challenges that enhance their enjoyment and make racing exciting. The PeeWee Track is one of the largest in the state. Utilizing its own separate 20-rider starting gate, the nearly 1 mile course, with slight elevation changes, includes a variety of obstacles from small singles and table tops, to off-cambers and sweepers. All obstacles can be completed by the Trail classes.
RACING & SPECTATOR FEES Sorry, we do not accept credit/debit cards at this time, check or cash only. Canadian money accepted at par, but please no toonies and loonies. Practice Fees — • Per Rider - $25.00 • Spectators - $2.00/each • Racing Fees — • MX Registration - $30.00 per class • Pit Bike Registration - $15.00 per class • AMA Membership - $39.00 annually* • GLMX Membership - $15.00 annually* • GLMX Weekend Membership - $5.00* * available during open practice or at Sign Up Gate Fees — • Age 12+ & All Racers - $10.00 ea. per day • Ages 5-12 Yrs. - $5.00 ea. per day • Ages 4 Yrs. & Under - FREE A 2-Day Gate Fee is collected when entering the grounds on Friday or Saturday. Those leaving by 10pm on Saturday will receive one (1) full day's gate fee back from the Gatehouse. Leaving after that time will forfeit your refund.
On Race Weekends, the gates will be open as follows: • Friday 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm • Saturday 7:00 am to 11:00 pm • Sunday 7:00 am to 1 Hr. after last race No one is allowed on the grounds prior to or after posted times. On open practice dates, gates will open one (1) hour prior to posted starting time and will close one (1) hour after posted end time.
