Plus some open riding areas. We allow ATV and Dirt bikes. We also have added a covered picnic area located by the pee wee track. Were planning to add a covered picnic area by the Intermediate and pro track also. We do not do any rentals. Directions: Catch Iliff anywhere you can and head east, eventually it turns into Jewell. Go over E 470 to the stop light at Gun Club Road, go straight 4 miles and we're on your left. -OR- Take E470 to the Jewell exit, go east to the stop light on Gun Club Road and go straight 4 miles. -OR- Take I-70 to the Watkins exit - #295 - go south 4 miles to the windmill on the corner, turn right and we're 2 miles down the road on your right. As of January 1 2009 everyone will be required to be a member to ride. Daily Riding Prices: $5.00 50cc (Kids only) $10.00 51cc and above $15 Out-of-town guests only Membership Fees: (Yearly) $20.00 per person $30 per family (family means you, your significant other and your children under 18) Everyone over 18 will need their own membership Payment Method: We accept Checks and Cash Out-of-town guests only will be able to sign for a day pass and charged $15 Tuesday-Sunday 8am to 4:30pm Closed Mondays for maintenance Always check the hotline (303-341-6309) for more information. I have been to this track personally about 3 times this year and each time I have been more than pleased with the personnel running it. Before this year though it had been over 15 years ago since I last rode there. This is an important fact because even then this was a a great practice track and it's even better now. Another reason for the history lesson is to let you know that I don't see this track closing down anytime soon as some people seem to worry about. It's been there for a while, and I think it will be there for a long time to come. I know people that will drive 2 hours just to go practice there for a day. They are constantly making improvements and use rider input to help make it better. Whereas they used to only hold one or so races there a season, (and that was even rare), I do believe they now hold sanctioned events for the SRAC and RMXA racing organizations in Colorado and the surrounding areas. Of course that is dependent on the current schedule of both of those organizations. It would be best to check with the track and/or the organizations themselves to be sure. Otherwise, as I said before I love this track it has step-ups, doubles, big berms, loamy terrain, and last but not least...a 90 foot tabletop. That thing will blast you into space. As far as track preparation, they go to the ends of the Earth to keep it clear of snow in the winter. On summer weekends the track sees water all day long as needed to keep the conditions optimal for riding. All in all, this is a wonderful place to ride and even I find myself wanting to drive the 2 hours from where I live to ride there, even if it is only for a day. Maybe next time I'll stay the weekend.
