Electric Dirt Bikes the Future of Motocross?

I came across a couple videos of these new electric mx bikes. I dont think it will catch on. Will we be forced into it with EPA restrictions in the future? Could you imagine the SX races? Would it be as fun to watch when you can hear a pin drop in the arena? What do you guys think?
