Delete your data.

You can delete your MX Parks account and all personal data we hold about you any time. There are two paths — pick whichever is easier.

Option 1 · Self-serve (signed in)

From your account page.

  1. Sign in at mxparks.com/sign-in with the email or social provider you originally used.
  2. Open your account page.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and use the Delete my account action.
  4. Confirm. Your account is queued for deletion immediately and fully purged within 30 days.

Don't see the delete option yet? We're rolling it out — in the meantime, use Option 2.

Option 2 · Email request

Send us a one-line email.

  1. Email us via the contact form using the same email address tied to your account.
  2. Subject: Delete my account
  3. Body: anything — "Please delete my account" is enough. Mention the platform you signed up with (email, Google, Facebook) so we can locate it quickly.

We confirm the request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your identity.

  • Your account record (name, email, password hash, any social-login link).
  • Reviews you posted (or anonymized if other riders cited them — see retention below).
  • Photos you uploaded.
  • Saved tracks, claim history, nominations.
  • OAuth provider links (Google, Facebook, X). We send a deletion signal to the provider where supported.

Retention exceptions

A few honest caveats.

  • Aggregate analytics (page views, click counts) are kept in anonymized form for owner dashboard metrics. No personal identifier remains.
  • Reviews other riders relied on may be retained with the author display swapped to "Former rider," at our discretion. Body content stays for the community of record.
  • Financial records (Featured Track subscription invoices) are retained per legal/accounting requirements, typically 7 years. Stripe holds card data; we have no card numbers to delete.
  • Backups roll over within 30 days; deleted data is purged from those backups on that schedule.
