Profile

What riders find here.

Millsaps Training Facility (MTF) in Cairo, Georgia is the East Coast's premier motocross training compound, 210 acres of national-caliber MX, SX, and arenacross tracks, backed by the highest tier of factory sponsorship in American motocross: Red Bull, Factory Connection, Dunlop, FMF, and Scott. Founded in 2003 by Collin Millsaps, MTF has grown over two decades into one of the most influential motocross training operations in the country, producing a steady stream of riders who have moved through the Loretta Lynn's amateur national pipeline into AMA Pro Motocross and AMA Supercross. Cairo, Georgia itself is the East Coast's motocross training capital. More Loretta Lynn's Area Qualifiers come out of Cairo every year than any other single town in America, the combination of the year-round riding climate, the concentration of training facilities (MTF, GPF, Next Level Motocross all operate within a few miles), and the culture of serious motocross development have turned Cairo into the closest thing American motocross has to a permanent training mecca. MTF anchors that ecosystem. The 210-acre facility runs national-caliber MX, SX, and AX tracks built to championship spec, these are not amateur practice loops, these are pro-level layouts where current AMA Pro racers do off-season work. The combination of a Pro SX replica, a real MX track, and a large arenacross-style track on the same property gives trainees exposure to all three disciplines without traveling. The training program structure is the operational core: a 48-week annual program for full-time trainees, plus shorter camps and short stays for riders who can't commit to year-round. Programs cover not just on-bike technique but also strength training, fitness, nutrition, mental preparation, and the kind of athlete development infrastructure that's standard in other professional sports but rare in American motocross outside of factory race teams. The facility has a full-service kitchen on-site (managed for athlete nutrition during full-time camps), modern dormitories and cabin lodging, on-site camping for short-stay families, and the kind of professional operations management that the factory sponsor list (Red Bull, Factory Connection, Dunlop, FMF, Scott) demands. Address: 867 Bold Springs Road, Cairo, GA 39828. From Tallahassee it's a 30-minute drive northeast; from Atlanta, four hours south via I-75 and 319; from Jacksonville, three hours west via I-10 and US-19; from Tampa, six hours north. Cairo is a small Grady County town in deep South Georgia, and the local economy has visibly shifted to support the motocross training cluster, there are mid-range hotels for visiting family members, restaurants that cater to athlete nutrition, and the kind of small-town hospitality that makes long training stays feel sustainable. Soil at MTF is the natural South Georgia sandy mix that drinks rain and dries quickly, perfect for year-round training. For a serious motocross athlete, MTF is the destination. The combination of factory backing, championship-level coaching infrastructure, the 48-week program structure, and the Cairo training ecosystem makes Millsaps Training Facility the most important motocross training compound on the East Coast.
