Ponca City MX is one of the most historically significant amateur motocross venues in the United States, the legendary host of the NMA Ponca City Grand Nationals for decades, now operating as the Motoplayground Race every October. The 2025 AMA Featured Event Series renamed the event but the tradition runs deep: every major American pro of the past 30 years has likely raced or qualified here. The facility offers a true park-style amateur national experience with 200+ RV hookups, full camping, real concessions, and proper restrooms with showers. Located in northern Oklahoma in Ponca City off North Prospect Avenue, easy access from Tulsa (1.5 hr east) or Wichita, KS (1.5 hr north). Open practice days are announced on social media. The October Motoplayground Race is the must-attend event, drawing factory teams, families from across the country, and the kind of atmosphere that's launched countless pro careers.
