Big Boys Playground in Harrisonburg has been the Shenandoah Valley's multi-discipline off-road playground since 2002, a motocross track plus harescramble trails, rock gardens, a drag strip, and mud pits including the famously notorious 'Hell Hole.' Monthly mud bog events draw a crowd. $250/year MX track membership; primitive camping available with advance registration. Open daily year-round, but call (540) 476-2044 first. From I-81 Exit 251, take Route 11 North 1.5 miles. Kids 13 and under ride free with parent membership. Northwestern Virginia in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.
